It was the night of Cynthia’s birthday party and all her friends were around.
The girls were all having their fun and screaming at the top of their voices.
Eric was present also. He was the one in charge of the dishes, pacing up and down, serving the girls while they ate, drank, took pictures and danced to the music which was playing on the music set.
Amara came closer to Cynthia and she whispered to her, “I really like Eric, ”
“Amara keeps your eyes away from my boyfriend, ” Cynthia joked.
“That’s not what I meant. It’s just that he’s humble and caring. You won’t find a lot of guys out there like him.”
“I’m waiting for the moral lesson of this your lecture Amara,” Cynthia replied with sarcasm.
“You shouldn’t lose him, ” Amara replied and continued dancing.
Ayo who was already tipsy walked over to Cynthia and Ayo. “Where’s Balogun?” She said loudly. “I was hoping I could meet his friends.”
“Shhhh…Eric is around, ” Cynthia tried to quiet Ayo.
“I’m sorry,” she whispered as covered her mouth with her hand.
“What’s your deal with the houseboy? ” she continued.
“Which houseboy?” Cynthia asked.
“She’s talking about Eric, she’s been calling him the houseboy since she came,” Amara said.
“That’s really mean.”
“It’s not my fault, he’s the one doing everything., Ayo replied.
“You girls should go and have fun, ” Cynthia said as she left the group.
